If you're wondering how to alter clothes to fit, our clothing alterations service is perfect for you. We know one size doesn't fit all, so that's why we offer a wide range of options — from shortening shirt sleeves to tapering trousers. Find out how to alter your clothes below, and please get in touch with our customer service team if you requite something additional.
TROUSER TAPERING
If you like your trousers to be a little slimmer, our tailors can make the adjustments necessary.
Please note: Our tapering service occurs an additional charge of £11.95.
What’s Available?
On site you’ll only see the option to taper trousers from the knee by 1”, however we are able to offer up to 1.5” on request.
How to Taper Your Trousers
To taper your trousers simply select the option on the trouser product page. If you’d like to taper your trousers by more than 1”, please contact our customer service team before placing your order.
WHITE COLLAR & CUFFS
Little changes can make a big difference, so we’ve made it possible to change the colour of your collar and cuffs on selected shirts.
It can be hard to stand out without going OTT.
A contrasting collar and cuffs offer the perfect compromise.
What’s Available?
A white collar and cuffs can be added to any of our cotton poplin shirts. You can view all poplin shirts by using the filter option. We are able to change the colour of just the collar/cuffs or both.
How to Add a White Collar and Cuffs to Your Shirt
On the product page of the shirts that are applicable, you will have the option to select either add white collar, add white cuffs or both. Simply tick the box of which you require.
Add a Pocket to Your Shirt
Where available, we will add a pocket to the left side of your shirt. If you are able to add a pocket to your chosen shirt, you will see the option appear once clicking 'personalise'.
A chest pocket may be ideal for your specs, but it’s certainly no space for leaking pens.
Please note: This option is only available on selected slim and extra slim fit shirts. Our classic fit shirts already include a chest pocket.
There is a small charge of £6.95 for this service and we ask that you add 48 hours for your order to be dispatched.

How to Add a Pocket to Your Shirt
Where available, we will add a pocket to the left side of your shirt. If you are able to add a pocket to your chosen shirt, you will see a box with the words Add Pocket to Left Chest. Simply tick the box and it will be added.
Change the Length
of Your Shirt Sleeve
If you often struggle to find the perfect sleeve length, you may need to make an adjustment. This is a small but effective change that can really make a difference to the overall look of your shirt. Depending on what you require, we can make your sleeves shorter or longer by up to 2".
Shortening a sleeve any more than
two inches will affect the drape and fit of the sleeve.
