MR Gregory Peck

The tall, dark and classically handsome Californian actor, Mr Gregory Peck, made his film debut in Days of Glory in 1944, and just five years later, in 1949, he had been Oscar-nominated for four different movies. Among his most famous roles, he played the gentlemanly Atticus Finch in the film adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird, where he set the precedent for men aspiring to be able to carry off the three-piece suit with such easy grace, and he finally won an Oscar for this role in 1962. There is also the charismatic Joe Bradley in Roman Holiday, in which he portrayed a stylishly suave American reporter, captivating the heart of his leading lady and princess, Ms Audrey Hepburn. However, he lends a timeless air of sophistication to the classic grey suit in his role as Tom Rath in the film The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit that we admire most this season.

To channel the impeccable style of Mr Peck yourself, we recommend teaming your grey suit with accessories in navies and blues, like the man himself; or for a bolder, more modern look, a punch red tie will certainly have you stand out from the crowd of ‘corporate drones’!
